About Chaptara

How did we get here?
When Bo Mijares first stepped onto campus, she never imagined she would one day lead a 600+ member chapter. But not long after that arrival, Bo learned that behind every strong chapter was a group of leaders quietly trying to hold everything together.
Fixing this became her focus as president. She wanted every member to feel seen, valued, and supported enough to truly engage with the community. Because at its core, that’s what Greek life is meant to do.
But behind the scenes was a horror story of patchwork that would make any management wonk go insane. Dozens of platforms and group messages. Endless links and scattered documents. Information living in five different places. Late nights trying to track attendance, dues, and events. Constant follow-ups just to make sure people are on the same page. In retrospect, it was perfect training wheels for the real world of functional (or dysfunctional) organizations. But it didn’t have to be that… stressful.

That’s where Chaptara was born.

From lived experience, not theory. Bo did not set out to create just another platform in an already crowded market. She built it because she knew the market still had not solved the actual problem. Too many tools were built for general organizations, national oversight, or surface-level aesthetics. Very few were built for the real day-to-day needs of chapter leadership.

Chaptara was designed to change that. It brings the essential parts of chapter operations into one place, making it easier to manage communication, track attendance and dues, support event planning, increase visibility, and help members stay engaged without constant chasing. The goal is simple: reduce friction, lower stress, and give chapter leaders the structure they need to actually lead.

At its core, Chaptara is not just about organization. It is about making leadership feel impactful instead of overwhelming. It is about helping leaders spend less time managing chaos and more time building relationships, creating opportunities, and strengthening sisterhood.
