Events & attendance questions
How do sororities take attendance with Chaptara?
Leaders open check-in for an event, and members check in from the Chaptara app by scanning a QR code, by being at the event location, or by having an officer mark them present. Attendance is recorded automatically for every member.
Can members share a screenshot of the QR code?
No. Chaptara’s check-in codes can’t be reused from a screenshot, so members have to be in the room to check in.
Does attendance connect to excuses and good standing?
Yes. Approved excuses are counted automatically, and attendance feeds into each member’s good standing.
